Grape variety: Montepulciano 100%

Soil:  clayey and calcareous, rich of microelements.

Training system:  pruned-spur cordon-trained, 3.000 vines per hectare.

Vinification: prolonged maceration in temperature-controlled fermenter.

Vinification details:  Diraspapigiatura of the grapes and submerged cap maceration in vertical fermeters.

Maturation: six months in stainless steel tanks on its skins.

Refining: six month in bottle.

Partial aging: 3-5 years.

Colour: ruby red.

Bouquet: composite fragrance of fruit and flowers mixed with spices and licorice.

Type of glass: Ballon

Taste: rich and full body, excellent tannic structure, perfectly balanced.

Gastronomy: roast beef, game and aged cheese.

Serving temperature: serve at room temperature (16-18°C), it’s recommended to open the bottle a few hours before serving.
